Cross Cultural Solidarity

History in the Service of Solidarity

About CCS

There are a handful of main categories on Cross Cultural Solidarity’s landing page. From there, you can branch out to explore resource collections on hundreds of racial justice topics. These topics cover freedom struggles as well as forms of oppression, both past and present.

Cross Cultural Solidarity also publishes a monthly newsletter, and hosts a discussion group about navigating these authoritarian times. Discussions are facilitated by CCS founder Lynn Burnett, and aim to provide clarity, inspiration, and a sense of community and connection. The discussion group and newsletter can be joined by becoming a member of Cross Cultural Solidarity’s Patreon.

The title for Cross Cultural Solidarity originated from Lynn Burnett’s experiences as a high school history teacher, where he saw the power of stories of multiracial solidarity to inspire his students. Cross Cultural Solidarity launched in 2015 as a site to gather these stories of solidarity, and from there, it expanded.
